  1. Turmeric for Liver health And Cancer Prevention

Even that spice has been used to treat liver diseases for centuries, the experts have started examining its real effects in the case of liver protection, 20 years ago.

Due to its powerful anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, it has the ability to reduce liver damage caused by the cirrhosis, iron overdose, ethanol, high toxicity levels, and liver diseases (cholestasis).

Thanks to the curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, it can effectively reduce the effect of human carcinogens (i.e. thioacetamide) on the liver and lowers the risk of liver cancer.

The scientists claim that turmeric can improve the function of the brain, thanks to the ability of the curcumin to inhibit the buildup of beta-amyloid plaques, which causes Alzheimer’s. It has also potent anti-inflammatory properties, which make it even better for treating Alzheimer’s.

Due to inflammation and oxidizing agents, it can reduce the damage to the brain, and this super-healthy spice is also useful in the case of depression.

–           Turmeric and Oil/Fat


–           1 teaspoon turmeric

–           2 cups coconut milk

–           1 pinch black pepper

–           1 tablespoon coconut oil


1)         Mix all ingredients

2)         Heat the mixture in a saucepan until it boils

3)         Remove it from heat and consume it warm

4)         This mixture can be added to your curries, soups, or other recipes.


–           Turmeric Water- recipe


–           1/4 teaspoon turmeric

–           1-2 cups of water


1)         Boil the water

2)         Add the turmeric and cook for 10 more minutes

3)         Cool it for a few minutes then you can drink it!
